Slightly OT, but for helping a lawn recover, iron sulphate is amazing, and super cheap. Amazon. It's the growth stuff grass needs. Ideally just dissolved in a watering can and sprinkled on the lawn diluted. Don't do it in weather like now, but usual UK weather - promotes strong growth, and the grass goes lot's greener. Also helps new seeds that have grown. Had to patch up my side lawn this year due to my son's stuff being on it for many months. It's just about recovering. No weed killers in it, so good for regular application.
