avail yourself of some s/h sti/ergo shifters and you're laughing. i like old bikes, but they have to be properly elderly to not warrant modern shifters, pedals and brakes.
What do you think of this bike as a commuting hack?

Nice one Crock - I found one of these at a jumble sale on Sunday.
Beautiful condition too, lovely bike isn't it?
Mine's got Campag front, rear mech and shift levers - nice Brooks saddle and what look like new Schwalbe tyres don't think they've been rolled on the road yet.
Missus was eyes rolling upwards at the arrival of another bike though, don't think my logic quite got through.....
Something nice about a quality British bike.
