Not everything has to be sweet either, Pepperami, jerky, burger and coke, McNuggets all work too if that's what you fancy and can stomach whilst riding.
No offence to Mr Stan, but people get very prissy about fuelling for and during a ride. Pleasure digestability and calories count in large amounts ... your body won't give a toss about organic or Goji berries.
I make these because they taste good, oats are a great complex carbohydrate and I use more honey and less sugar to save my teeth. I don't care about the organic debate. It's more a thrift thing for me - means I can spend more money on cakes at the pit stop and beer afterwards.
