I'm 63 and my grandfather was 27 years old in 1910.I am 67 and my grandfather would only have been about 14 in 1910. May be your great grandfather?
That's what I thought; somewhere between 1901 - 1910.The image looks Edwadian
Definitely?Definately late 1800's early 1900's...1890 ish would be my guess...
The rod brake is pressing onto the top of the tyre, rather than pulling up on the rim. I think this must be well before the 50s. I assume this would only be done with solid tyres (but I do not know this). I think solid tyres would have disappeared very early in the 1900s. Maybe someone could date it from that?Rod brakes suggest 50s or earlier AFAIK.
