What era bike is this?

Thanks for your input all, unfortunately I don't have a better pic , all I can tell you was My Grandad was born in 1881 .

Very similar style to this - rod brake on front wheel only - so 1890s on

That would most likely put the picture at sometime in the first decade of the 20th century then.
I'd guess 1905 - 1910, as he looks to be in his mid 20s.
