I wouldn't call it an insult, as such. It was used as banter amongst friends or family.

You would never start a fight behind the bike sheds at school with the opening gambit of "You big girls blouse"

But I like the fact that someone has taken the time to research this piece. Especially as it is so trivial and unimportant.
