What leads you to believe that the product is the cheapest, lowest quality? Just saying so doesn't make it true. McDonald's talk a lot about the quality of the meat that they use. Do you know something different?
I said the cheapest, lowest quality they can get away with not they use or have the cheapest or lowest quality. It is completely different.

Nope, they don't look pink at all and it's certainly not filth. It's just a plain sausage roll.
Exceedingly plain and definitely filth IMO: they use herb extracts because they're too tight to put real herbs in the sausagemeat... but then, this may be because I've been spoiled by the East Anglian traditions: the very herby Lincolnshire and Suffolk, the mustardy Norfolk, the very seasoned Cambridge and the spicy Newmarket... not to mention the ones we seem to have imported from our friends across the North Sea.

Ahhh I remember Greggs. I used to go to them every morning for a freshly made BLT baguette before i started school

They had two branches on the same street as each other near my school - one a the top of the road and one at the bottom of it about 10 doors down.

I popped in there a few years back to see if I could have a BLT made for me for the sake of nostalgia and I was shocked to find that even though they had the ingredients to make it in the back - they werent allowed to do it anymore. That pretty much marked the first and the last visit I made to a Greggs in 15 years.

To quote the late Pterry
“Watch closely, pie-selling person,” said the wizard. He stretched out his hand, made a strange gesture
with his fingers, and produced a pie out of the air. It was fat, golden-brown and beautifully glazed. Just by looking at it Ardrothy knew it was packed edge
to edge with prime lean pork, with none of those spacious areas of good fresh air under the lid that represented his own profit margin. It was the kind of pie piglets hope to be when they grew up."

Now that's the difference between Greggs and someone who cares about the food first and profit second
That's a meaningless statement though isn't it? You get what you pay for, and you'll find that they will actually use the best quality that they can afford at the price we're prepared to pay. They could get away with poorer quality than they do.
Your hard work

I will try one last time. KFC etc. are in it to make as much profit as they can while maintaining the brand they have built up over time and maintaining sales. If they sell too high quality food their profit and sales suffer as their direct competitors under cut them. If they sell too low quality food their brand gets tarnished as selling poor quality food, this kind of brand damage if too high has closed down companies or been very costly to repair.

I am guessing you are very young or not involved in a large business if you think KFC etc. provide they highest quality they can afford for the price, there is no profit in doing that. Just look at their food range, sugary drinks / deserts, fries, burgers, fried chicken, chicken nuggets, chicken popcorn, gravy. None of this is quality or nutritious food. If you believe it is i worry for your long term health
