I had a Wendyburger at a service station somewhere near Sheffield at the height of the BSE scare. After a couple of mouthfuls I feared for my life. Never again.

Watched Gremlins at Christmas. In the opening scene as the hero goes to work, hes moving through a US smalltown highstreet. All of the shops are seemingly madeup independents, except for the incongruous Burger King. Id never noticed it before.

At the risk of you going all "London" on me, Five Guys is hardly in competition with the likes of McD. It's a premium product at a premium price. Whilst £13.25 for a cheeseburger, fries and a drink may be modest for some, it's not priced to compete with McD...or BK for that matter

I agree. But it is a fast food outlet. I'd rather have less often and better burger.

I stopped a a BK on the A421 services when we were having to go to MK hospital..
there linked to a lot of little chefs now.

Black Cat? Come on, there's a Little Chef right there and it's ten times better than BK.

I used to like trying to get my mouth around a big bender in Wimpy.
