Once again... conned out of a good storm by the BBC weather peeps!!

Seems like the thunderclaps are going to be a few miles to the east now so all we're getting here is a bit of 'light rain'..

Radar shows storms moving my way. At current course and heading I reckon I'll cop it c.2230-2309ish.

I've been for a scan today, injected with some radioactive stuff. Been advised not to have close contact with pregnant women or children under 13 for 24 hrs. Alas, Mini D has a bug and spent last night in bed with me, Mrs D in her bed. I'm too tall to go in Mini D's bed, so I've retreated to the sofa bed in then summer house with Lemmy. I'm settled down watching TV and surfing the web, and can't wait for the storm to hit.
