what happens in the end of "once upon a time in america"

4 hour 20 minute long film and I fell asleep about 20 minutes from the end of it......do they all go to jail as planned? do they get killed doing the job? grrrrr so fustrated!

I watched the whole bang shoot some years ago, loved it but didn't understand the end anyway. So nothing lost apart from some sleep!
