Last time I went into a cinema was in 2001. The film was Julia Brockovitch. I was in Mumbai and the only reason I went was because I had heatstroke, and it was air-conditioned.

Feels like everyone who cycles has done their epic climb like Ventoux or similar.

Me? No HC or cat 1. Just one cat 2 climb a handful of times, in far better weather than Simon Warren, where I got a silly segment kom (not the main climb) in favourable conditions before long covid! 🤣

Duty free at Gatwick is the same.
A thin brightly lit corridor snaking from security to the departure lounge.
Possibly the most stressful place in the world.

At 7:30 am, the smell of vile cheap scent and a sample of some new brand of grog adds to the hateful experience of your up-coming RyanAir adventure.

i have never been in an Ikea.

Nor have I. The closest one to me is 45 miles away so I never bothered. I've just had a quick look on their website though, for a sofa, and they seem to look better value than DFS. FOr anyone on a budget, you can get a 2 seater sofa for £239

Don't forget that there's a damsel in distress that needs to be rescued, but it turns out that she's quite capable of giving the baddies a bit of a slap on her own.

And don;t forget that the hundreds of baddies were wearing armour
and there were hundreds of them

but someone the courageous and brave goodies managed to fight them and win despite not wearing anything protective at all

because they were "In The Right"
and The Gods (i.e. The Force - was on their side
