My dog, watching me pick up his "evidence" in the garden, and, when I'd finished, deciding to add one more to the day's "haul".

My random wander around the 'hood, noting the developments front yards which are being dug up on some, but not all, council owned properties. The speculation about whether they'll be dropping the curbs has mounted as one has been done, but not the others (there are four in total dotted around).

The inescapable dullness of this pointlessness made me grin.

Worth noting that the house I'm in is privately owned, but the drive was marked up by the council. They're making a good job of things so far, and our curb is already dropped so part of me kind of wishes I'd just let them crack on.

Throwing stuff away in the house that my parents lived in for 45 years. About a million plastic carrier bags & attachments for goodness knows how many different vacuum cleaners.

As there's so much to sort it's great when I find things that can go straight into the bin.
