Hi. I have a Boardman 8.6 Hybrid bike and the wheel size is 700 x 37c

I bought an inner tube from Halfords and it seems to have a bulge in it.

It's the 2nd one I have bought now

Does anyone recommend an inner tube?

I've had a number of punctures so that's why I'm looking for a new one.

Also for the wheel size 700 x 37c I take it I need that size tube ?

Halfords generally mark their inner tubes in a range. Pick a tube that falls within the size of your tyre. So for your size tyre it would be something like 700x35-40. The numbers refer to the wheel size (the 700 bit) and the width of the tyre (the 37c bit). Oh, and make sure the valve type matches.

A bulge? I think I know what you have done but I won't assume anything.

Check the inside of the tyre by running your fingers gently around the inside to feel for a flint of other sharp item poking through and give the outside an inspection to see if you can spot the offending thorn or flint sticking in.
As above, a 700c x 30 to 40 tube will fit.

Surprising how many forget to to do this.

As for ‘which tube’ I’ve had tubes from Decathlon that have been rubbish but no brand cheap Chinese ones which have been fine. 🤷
