Barum Bar Bravuris supposed to be mid range made by Continental I think.

I will look at the calculator and see if anything is easier. Any recommendations would be appreciated of course :thumbsup:

Barums are indeed Continental.

Got Barum Bravuris 2's on my saloon car - very good tyres indeed.

my car is quite powerful - so i prefer to put decent rubber on the corners ---- as i said before, pays your money,makes your choice

My bmw had runflat tyres - the devils work i tell you!
Ruined the ride .... I changed to conventional tyres,some 6 months later (plus proper skinny spare),and the difference in ride quality/road noise was unbeleivable.

I've been considering replacing the bone-crunchers on my Beemer, but I've been worried about the insurance implications (changes to spec etc). Did you have any problems?

To answer the OP, I've found mytyres.co.uk very good. You can stick in your reg and they recommend tyres that suit your vehicle; every option comes up with links to independent tests;

their prices are really keen; and their deliveries are quick and efficient.

And? My car is quite powerful too but I haven't fallen for the hype. Your earlier unsubstantiated and unretracted claim that 'even the best driver in the world' would crash if using cheap tyres has rather undermined your credibility.

and nothing Mr Mickle - when i said best driver in the world - it wasn't a literal comment, more an expression. should i say a good driver, could end up in a ditch with cheap tyres? so many variables - winter tyres,summer tyres,road conditions,driver experience. you don't believe the hype - ok great. i prefer to put better quality tyres on my car. good luck with your choices sir

I went with BlackCircles in the end and their prices were pretty good to get off-road tyres fitted on my partners 4x4 at a local tyre fitter.

If you want the tyres delivered to you then I got some good quotes from Camskill tyres but they tend to run out of stock quite quickly due to their low-ish prices on some sizes. .
