I don't go back to the exodus, but I've been here since about 2008, this place has mellowed over the years, I remember some intense debates and regular flounces, I don't think we've had a good flounce for a while, unless I've missed one. I've also got better at putting across what I wanted to say as the years pass, in the early days I got myself flamed a few times because what I was trying to say didn't come across as I meant, I've also got better at picking my fights.

But seriously, according to wikipedia, there is upwards of 5 Costner baseball movies. Saying "that Kevin Costner baseball fillum" is hardly more specific than "that Kevin Costner fillum".

Tragic and humour in the same sentence it'll never catch on.............

I know exactly what you mean Dave. I have said stuff on here that has been taken the wrong way by some and what i have typed hasn't come across as what i have meant to say. Thing is we all have the potential to make this mistake and those that are too quick to judge should remember that.....

I got swept along with the mass exodus from the Cycling Plus forum - July 2007, I think.

Mr Hippo, IIRC, was here before most of us.

Me too. After a brief dalliance in ACF and then YACF. I think I'm still registered there, but it's full of audaxers.

I was also a member of the League of Gentleman Cyclists... but that is known only to real freaks.
