It's a 'pen' for writing on the screen. Just a smaller version of the sort you get on Tablets.

Sometimes handy if you can't be bothered to take your gloves off when out on a ride. The plug looking bit should fit into the headphone socket so you are less likely to lose it.


Maybe 'write' was the wrong word. You can use it instead of your finger.
Note: retrieve it from the bin....

I had one for my original smartphone which had a tiny 3.5 inch screen. My fingers were a bit too big for clicking tiny onscreen buttons. The stylus also had the advantage of not leaving greasy fingerprints on the screen. In the end though, I found it annoying so I just bought a bigger phone, use my fingers, and wipe the screen more often!
