Someone with complete faith in their brakes, and probably a fair over estimation of their own abilities helps.

Way out of my comfort zone but in fact not quite as daredevil as it looks. The helmet camera is centred over the path so it misses the angle on the slope, creating the impression of a vertical drop. If one of the riders did fall there is some chance they would end up on the path beyond the next hairpin. Mind you, no guarantees and death-defying just the same.

Thought that was fairly tame compared to some downhills that are nearly vertical, with drops on either side

What kind of loon does this?

The Miles Todd kind!

Concerned friend before lunacy...

"Look at the penalty for failure, dude!"

Concerned friend after his mate falls into the ravine, to other mate...

"Did you film it?" :okay:

(Miles somehow got away with minor injuries!)

Can't help but think there is a bit of Darwinism going on there.
