Closing the office door every day at 5:30 - best feeling in the world.
I think having enough cash in the bank to never have to go to the office again would trump that! :okay:

But that costs more than pennies. But I live in hope that I have a big win on all the prize bonds I've bought in the past few months...
Not if it were a million dollars worth of pennies! :okay:

Okay, a young person in London would probably not be able to retire comfortably on $1,000,000, but for a frugal 60 year old like me living 'oop north' it would be plenty.

I have recently bought a big block of premium bonds. They won me £25 on the first draw. Not exactly life-changing, but an encouraging start!

Well here's another one:

when I eat some peanuts (MUST be in shells) that are roasted with no salt, now and again I'll come across an extra roasted one that seems to taste like just some kind of beautiful coffee...... It only happens now and again, but when it does, oh boy, I savour the moment.

Seems like there are some commonalities with cups of tea, so I now know I'm not some kind of strange individual......

I have bought a block every month since last September and still haven't won anything at all. So I'm bound to be due a big win...

I had looked at opening a savings account but the interest rates seemed so low as to be almost pointless so I decided to gamble and buy some bonds instead. I figure it makes a lot more sense than doing the lottery as at least I still have my money but even a small win would be encouraging!

I had £6,000 worth for 6 months in 2006 and won £50 three times.

I know the bike cost £1,000 but there is a stretch of road just past Nesfield that i just love to coast down.
