Waking up from a nightmare about being totally unprepared for an exam......and realising that all that stuff was decades ago....and laughing out loud when you remembered.

My nightmare was me failing Chemistry 1T failing its re-sit and that the awarding of my degree was due to an administrative error.

The thing is, I never had to sit Chemistry 1T as I did the Fuel and Energy Engineering course and not the Fuel and Energy Science course where 80% of the undergraduates failed Chemistry 1T - such was the extension of its grip of terror.

I had The Exam Nightmare every May for a good ten years after I left university. So did a lot of my friends. Fortunately they are becoming rarer, but they still crop up once in a blue moon.

Taking the new dog for a walk. My accident in April coincided with my poor old Bramble's losing interest in anything other than a short constitutional, and watching Willow exploring her surroundings is a renewed joy after months of not getting my boots on.
