I'd forgotten about Justified. Superb show that went under most folks radar because it was initially on Channel 5, who didn't end up showing the last season I believe.

Banshee is also amazing. Easily the most violent thing I've seen on telly. The third season has taken it up a notch too.

Justified is terrific, we're watching Banshee at the mo, we've just watched the 'Albino' episode.

Is V on there.A science fiction about aliens dropping in.I bought the dvds, but i think there is not going to be another series, pity i thought it was good.
The original series back in the 80s I think was quite good. I tried to watch the remake and it was sh**e.

I don't have Netflix anymore but if they are on it: Falling Skies, Banshee as said, Revenge is quite entertaining.

Dont know if these are on Netflix or not....

Dexter
Fringe
Utopia (although its a pain knowing it gets canned before it gets to completion)
Firefly (as above, got canned too early)
Orphan Black
The Walking Dead.
Oh, dear bejebus no.

First series was excellent. Then they did that same old thing of milking it as far as they could, and the plot disappeared beneath a sand dune. Any more of those bulgy, starey eyes and drama from someone who you really couldn't warm to and our TV would have been out of the window.
I must admit series 3 was a bit weird, but I still think Carrie is ace. Not seen series 4, or 5. Is there a 5?

The Almighty Johnsons. A bunch of Kiwi brothers discover they're actually Norse gods. And Rita's pretty good, too, for a Danish take on Teachers.

Definite +1 for Utopia that has been mentioned, especially season 1. I thought it was brilliant, quite dark though.

Nobody has mentioned Black Mirror i don't think, whilst not to everyones tastes, it's only 3 episodes per season, but one of those episodes is possibly the best hour of tv i've ever seen, bar probably the final episode of Breaking Bad, and a few of the stand out episodes of Game of Thrones and the Sopranos.

A couple of people mentioned Falling Skies, i'm upto s05e02, but i still don't know why i've watched any of it, or why i'm persevering through to the end, i'd give anything for a decent sci-fi show i guess.

Working my way through Orange is the new black, quite like it. House of cards i got through season one but kind of lost it and got bored. Still have plans to watch Dexter and Sons of Anarchy. Also waiting on Season 4 of Homeland, apparently its gotten back on track after what was IMO a disastrous Season 3. Loads to watch on netflix, just finding time at weekends.
