What Pedal for Me

Hi all I'm looking into getting a new pair of pedals as the toeclip ones that came with my bike are killing me a i have a cyclocross bike and want something to suite and also have the choice to ride with cleats or normal shoes.

A friend of mine suggested the Shimano m324 spd anyone have any other views, also I would like the pedal to be quite small and light if possible

I've got these on my commuter. Lighter and neater than the m324s (which I've used before), and the normal-shoe pedalling surface is minimalist but secure, with little pins for grippiness...

There are also the Shimano A530 pedals. I used them on my commuter as an intro to SPDs and found them to be very good.

A 600 small and light but because it's small and shapely not at all comfortable if you have larger feet and softer soled shoes

these on my hybrid - use them with cleats or trainers with no fuss.They are not lightweight, but do the job with minimal fuss. if you want lighter smaller pedals - take a look at Shimano M530's

I took the plunge and went for the a342's nice pedal, had a result really as went from evans and they price matched chainreactions £24.49 sweet

Look S-Track with the pedal cage. You can also remove the pedal cage.. Seriously light and outstanding set of pedals.
