I've been cycling on and off for a few years, my longest is 55 miles, and I'm currently on a GT Traffic 1.0 hybrid. It's quite quick and fitted with Ergon grips to help out with hand positions.
I've recently just started again and doing 20-25 miles. My brother (also just started) has suggested this sportive in September. There are routes of 47, 68 and 100.
In 3 or 4 months, could I get up to the required fitness for 100 miles, or should I play it safer at the 68, or even 47?
