It's a bit more complicated than that...
Tandem sprinting. It used to be a regular feature at the World Track Championships but was sadly ditched some years ago. It was by far the most exciting event on the track. This clip is pretty tame compared to many a contest, but still ends in tears -

Gives me an idea for the grand tours - a new version of the Team Time Trial, with the whole team on one bike...

I used to work, train and race with Paul who's the stoker on the GB tandem - he made a comeback last year riding in the 60-64yr masters category :smile:

Bog Snorkeling - from what I've heard of water quality in Rio it's almost there

Ob. cycling: Back in the day, before things like web forums, we had USENET and newsgroups, amongst them uk.rec.cycling. One of the regulars there, Myra van Ingwegen, was world champion at Bog Snorkeling.
