Did you pay VAT/import duty when importing it to the UK?
Cause if you didn't, prepare for whinging.

If there is one, look in REI, it's like Mountain Warehouse meets the Coop and I've liked the bike stuff I've bought from them, mostly own brand clothes.

A Sams or similar will have under armour but I've never round it that cheap. My summer under armour T-shirts and my winter long sleeve compression layers both came from Target though and I've been pleased with them.

Hanging in the bike shops was fun, but the only bargains were in the bargain bin.

no, because it was "secondhand" (i.e. had used it for a few days) and more importantly had hidden it in a big holdall!

Quick update

Well picked up various clothing for all family and shoes for me.
Waterproof jacket him and her. Tops long and short sleeve him her and kids( it kept them happy) Huge saving at pearl Izumi outlet but year are two old stock but perfectly fine. Also visited rei which was cool except for the 500m2 floor space dedicated to rifles camouflage and general killing implements!
Interesting experience....Was at large tourist attraction and they had a put a pin in the map of where you are from type thing.....only problem was map was of USA only!

I've used http://www.jensonusa.com/ , http://www.universalcycles.com/ and http://www.performancebike.com/ with some success, but I use http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/ the most as I can buy everything tax free and they offer free shipping to the US.

Also check out the local craiglist as you may find some deals for cash... http://boston.craigslist.org/i/bikes

And if you're getting whiskey then a bottle of Colonel E.H. Taylor (if you can find it) is a must. Plus don't forget many of the single malts are way cheaper over here.

Any tips for Levi exporters from the US @marzjennings? The prices in the UK are quite scandalous.

Wow, just comparing Amazon.com to Amazon.co.uk I see lowest prices here for 501s around 30usd whereas lowest in the uk seems to be 35ukp. Checking levi.com, target.com and jcpenny.com none of them seem to ship to the uk.

I'm flying back home in November to see mother, maybe I need to pack of couple cases of jeans to help pay for the trip
