It's not trivial really but swimming. I'm really not a strong swimmer. I can breast stroke (fnaar, stay away!:biggrin:) but not for any great distance, and I never learnt to do anything else.

Other than that, I'd like one day to learn to play the piano. Oh, and social skills!

Not particularly trivial, but I bought a banjo six years ago: it's been out of its case twice!

Next year I WILL learn to play it!
I've got half a dozen blues harps. I can get a tune out of them but I have never learned to play them.

I didnt learn how to adjust and setup a rear derailleur until i was 50 :wacko:
Even then i was dead sceptical about playing about with it...and i'm a maintenance engineer !!!

The Coffee menu in Starbucks etc is a complete mystery. Partly I resent having to converse in Italian and ask for a "Grando Mocca" or whatever it is.
I drink black coffee anyway so just ask for that. Sometimes they say back to me "An Americano" which I doubt is aptly named as if most Americanos drank black coffee with no sugar they would not be so fat.
Is it some daft idea that a cup of coffee is worth £2.50 if the ordering of it is in Italian?

this is actually quite embarrassing but for years i couldnt tell the time on an analog clock !!!!! :biggrin:

ever since i was very young i've had a digital watch (actually got a bit of a strange obsession about needing to have a watch on at all times) so i never looked at the clocks on the walls.

sure i knew how it was done, but i couldn't just glance at a clock and see it instantly, i would have to kinda work it out

:thumbsup::blush::biggrin::blush:xx(:blush::ohmy:

25 years ago, my girlfriend at the time bought me a really nice trumpet... (on the same day that her sister tried to give me a tonguey... which was odd). Anyways, I can make it go PARP, but I can't play it. Would really like to learn...

What can you make go 'parp' the trumpet or her sister?

Making pastry - never learned, I just buy it already prepared.

With regard to the handkerchief - just shove it under the cushions. No one will know whether it is folded or not.
