So glad my kids are teens and this fecking song no longer features in my life. I used to get inexplicably angry about the "Dads on the bus go snore snore snore " verse. No they don't. The dads on the bus work their fecking arses off, get into financial difficulty, take on roles their own fathers never had to do, and put up with constant media griping about how useless men are. Grrr.

I'm in the band for a stage production of Footloose next week. Don't like the songs but after a couple of weeks practice, they do tend to lodge in the mind.
Right now I'd be glad to be stuck with "the wheels of the bus". At least the tempo stays the same for more than two bars at a time.
