What type of vintage Raleigh bike have I found

Have a google Raleigh frame numbers and a couple of sites should help with year but not model

The only model I can think of is which is similar is the Lenton. If you carefully remove that paint I'm sure you will find decals underneath.
The Sturmer Archer rear hub will also have a date.

Quite possibly a Lenton, the 'grease port' on the bottom bracket puts it early 60s or older and like @Cycleops says carefully cleaning off the re-paint may reveal traces of some decals.

The fork-lock and what looks like a fitting for a chain-guard or chaincase suggest it's a utilitarian roadster.

Didn't spot that Ian. Lugs are different too and rake on forks more pronounced.

The frame number on the seat post would suggest that the bike is from 1972/3 from this website

But the oil port on the bottom bracket would point to an earlier model.
