Hi there

It says on the information that these tyres are tubeless ready but my friend is using tubes - are these tyres ok?

Jason
Yes you can run them with a tube if that’s what you want to do, tubeless ready just means the tyres are suitable to use on tubeless rims with a tubeless valve and sealant, it’s not a problem to run them with a tube in

No reason why you can't use tubes in a tubeless tire. The problem comes the other way, trying to set up a non tubeless tire as tubeless.

Are you sure that he wants a direct replacement for those tires? WTB are quite expensive and it depends on the type of riding your friend is doing. Maybe there is another type of tire that would be suitable, then again if they've been happy with the Nano's then no reason to not replace with the same.

He usually cycles on the canal paths and roads but wishes to keep those type of tyres - can you recommend any tyres?

Thanks in advance
