What vintage car would you buy ?

If I had the money, I would buy a Citroen 2Cv, Citroen DS21 and Peugeot 404. These cars take me back to my youth , in the 60's. I first learned to drive on a 404 ( my father's car), courted with 2CV and love the DS as an icon car. What would you get?

Again, purely for nostalgic reasons, a Rover 110 (P4) like this one. Rear doors opened towards the back of the car. Ours was 2 tone, fawn over brown. It sounds horrible but it looked great. I can still smell that lovely leather interior:

This was the first car we owned that I remember, registration number OWG 414.

My father was also a fan of french cars; we had a couple of Citroen GS's during the 70s.

If money was no object, it would have to be an E type Jaguar, V12 of course! Maybe an Aston Martin DB5 too.

Because sometimes they are nicer to covet then a safe modern car and represent a period in our youth when these things were imprinted upon our souls.
Besides, most of us are not spending our money on them.
