i was talking to my partner the other day about music and i was trying to think of a singer from the late 90s early 2000s if i remember rightly, now the problem is i cant for the life of me remember any of her songs or her name so im a bit stuck. all i can remember was she was a coloured women with very wild frizzy hair and her spoken voice was unusual but her singing voice was unbelievable.
i have a feeling her name was either grace or norah but i could be wrong
anyone any idea who she was??

she was white lol but i must admit she did have an excellent voice

but no the correct answer was macy gray
