We are cooking a slap-up Japanese feast for friends. Nabe (fish and tofu hotpot with miso, cooked at the table), pumpkin rice, roast sweet potatoes and cucumber sauce, teriyaki mushrooms with pecan nuts, spicy aubergines and pork, avocado 'sashimi' with say sauce and wasabi, and kinpura (a kind of celery, carrot and sesame stir-fry). Desert is seasonal fruits in a kind of seaweed jelly with crispy apple spring-rolls. Must get back to it!

I haven't got sky so I listened to the rugby league final whilst doing housework. Rock'n'roll lifestyle kicking in again. Going to bed soon. Running at 0700 in the morning before swimming whilst one of offspring has her swimming lesson at 0830. Watching UFC reality series at the mo too.
