As I'm now retired and no longer have to commute, I can choose the weather conditions I go out in, so clothing isn't an issue - ! :okay:

Bib shorts with some modesty shorts over the top, Knee warmers, warm socks and overshoes or unvented mtb shoes.
Short sleeve base layer, winter jersey, gilet if it's really cold. Jacket only comes out when it's cold and wet. Gloves change with the temps but generally only something wooly like defeet dura gloves unless it's really cold. I had some really nice decathlon soft shell gloves but I accidentally left them in the open tray thingy of my moped in the work carpark and they went missing.

NONE TODAY MADAFAKAS!

Well, OK a fleece but it's tangibly less wintery than the full waterproof / beanie / gloves I've been sporting in recent weeks...

I feel the cold...... so in cold weather I wear a thermal base shirt, a fleece, 2 cycle jackets, an electric rechargeable gillet and a final jacket on top. My hands are kept relatively warm with silk inner gloves under electric heated ski gloves. I wear thermal leggings under a pair of tactical wear windproof and waterproof trousers.
My feet are kept just about warm enough with a pair of WoolyBoolie Merino Wool socks, electric heated insoles in PlanetX Das boot Winter boots and neoprene overshoes.
My head has a small liner cap, and a buff and a helmet with face visor and I also have a warm fleecy neck warmer.
The above is genuinely not an exaggeration..... did I mention that I feel the cold?

No, but I am an hour late for work, before I have even set off! (and then have to get changed into my uniform on arrival 🤣)

BTW. To quote Captain Mainwaring, " Don't tell them your name Pike"
