This would do for me. Hilly road riding, invest in a MTB, nice walking to have a dog again, not far from the coast, buy some chickens for quality eggs and just too far away from Plymouth for my MiL to feel safe about driving
£1.2 million & cushions from quality save.

I like everything apart from new build "exec" boxes. It'd be down to location for me, if I was a bit older hand and got rid of at least 2 children, I'd have snapped this up..........and de-cluttered it. River Aire to the left, canal to the right, Saltaire (with station) & Roberts Park on the doorstep, living small at it's best.

Few steps to here.
I used to know a family who used to live in a collection of converted railway carriages at the side of the railway. I used to go there and play subeteo, when a train went past most of the pieces would wobble off the pitch.
Not sure whether I'd necessarily call it my dream house, but definitely hard to beat for the money: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...ow-I-built-hobbit-house-Wales-just-3-000.html
Love that house and the concept.

I own 90 acres in a secluded part of the wine country in South Australia - lots of big Murray River Red gums and a creek and I have been trying to think up a way to build on it economically. That particular house wouldn't work on my land, but the concept sure is food for thought...
