It really should be done nationwide, a "leave the bike, go by car" day.

On a local forum once again the old brain-dead "cyclists should have to pay insurance and tax then they'd soon get off their bikes" line is boringly trotted out (almost daily)

I really do think a nationally co-ordinated day would be excellent of giving them what they say they want - bikes off the road as we "join the queue like everyone else" in our cars

It's a good point to remind youtubers of when they complain about cyclists holding up traffic.

That is a nice video, but I'm sure they could cut it down to under a minute. Not sure many non-cyclists want to watch a video mostly consisting of people just riding around with interesting info taking up about 10% of the video.
