does any other sad muppets out there that watch NCIS ? I think its quite funny .Blokes version of a soap I suppose.

There never seems to be anything on worth watching ,if it wasn't for top gear and NCIS I'd get rid of the tv for good.Oh and T de F and Wimbledon and maybe some of the Lydia l Plante tv dramas and perhaps some of the History and Geography stuff.........okmaybe I'll keep the tv

TV is crap these days, especially when we're in Big Brother season - makes C4/E4 completely unwatchable.

I'm on my own at the moment, so the choice tonight was sit in front of the computer a bit more, or watch TV so I endured 2 hours of Welcome to the Jungle...and not a single bit of Guns n Roses

I like Law and Order "Criminal Intent", and Without A Trace. Also watching the re-runs of MASH. On a more traditional note, I like the Miss Marple with Joan Hickson, and the Sports and sometimes the foreign Channels - including Brazilian TV.

We've just watched a film called 'Sideways'. It was on the TV a couple of days ago but coincidentally I just bought the DVD. Nice film, recommended.

you need to develop the art of doing both at the same time badly ,preferably in the kitchen whilst swmbo is watching BB or some other mindless drivel in the sitting room.

Mrs Peanut is away house and horse sitting this w/e . me and the boys (2x cats) have been having a great old time . Few beers a curry and some war movies on the box

Maybe that's my problem - no animals or SWMBO to play with.

I don't mind the occasional watch of NCIS.

Jethro's hair should have it's own credit though - always reminds me of that dog, Bristle Hound, from 'It's the Wolf'......."it's the wooluf, it's the wooluf"

....cough, just me then?!

To add to my earlier post, I do sometimes wonder if I am the only female of my acquantance who does not watch any of the "soaps", or the reality programmes, with the exception of "Grand Designs" (Kevin McCloud ).

I like "Scrap Heap Challenge", especially the sort of role reversal with the presenters :smile:.

And anything with submarines  with Gene Hackman and/or Tommy Lee Jones :biggrin:. Recently they showed "Ghost Boat" with David Jason.

As for daytime TV, I don't think my tv receives a signal in the daytime, except for sports programmes.

I tend to watch most of my TV on DVD these days - currently working my way through S1 of Prison Break, and S2 of Millennium (remember that?)

Recently finished S4 of Lost, spending most of my time wondering why on earth I still watched it.

DVR records Family Guy and American Dad! each week too.

Very little now The Apprentice has finished
I watch the News, footie, if it's on, natural history stuff and the occasional movie. TV these days is pretty dire :becool:
