I am still alive, thank-you. Doing okay. No longer living on the island though. Moved university jobs. Separated and divorcing. Not really cycling much but did do a very nice cycling tour of the western fjords of Norway last summer.

Still in the land of the living M'dear.

No longer a bicycle owner and having turned 71 I won't be again. I know people still ride at this age and a lot older, but not for me anymore.

Well thinking actually, thinking of the devil, just the other day was listening to a youtube generated playlist which started to get a bit Rush-heavy, and it reminded me of your loathing of them following a van tour across Canada or summat. Surprising what your mind dredges up!
Divorcing also and not doing much cycling either, but still here. Keep well.

Well thinking actually, thinking of the devil, just the other day was listening to a youtube generated playlist which started to get a bit Rush-heavy, and it reminded me of your loathing of them following a van tour across Canada or summat. Surprising what your mind dredges up!

I too have a loathing of Rush, having been subjected to them no-stop on a tour across France in the back of a Mercedes Benz, in the mid 1980’s. Thankfully they’re not often played on radio. Which is ironic.

Yes, but you can still post on CC if you're an ex cyclist, or never ridden a bike in your life, as you'll know. Just in case you've stopped posting because you don't (like me) ride a bike anymore.
