Well, iluvmybike kind of nailed it: I know SRAM X-9 is the make and model; i know what a GXP bottom bracket is; i know what 10sp means; and i know what a crankset is But i have no idea what 2.2 signifies. It appears at various points in the description of various SRAM chainsets so i don't think it's a version/model number as implied in the Hussefelt description.

No idea what the 2.2 is about - but those cranksets are a tad dear!!
