A quick Google suggests to me that the R701's are the earlier spec with external cable routing, whereas the 5700's appear to be the newer, (maybe latest I'm not sure), spec with fully integrated routing.

Cheers for that Smokey. Internal cable routing looks 10x better but just if it's worth the extra £'s.
