I must have ridden through Calpe over 50 times on my various Costa Blanca cycling holidays but I never actually went to that sea front... It looks nice, and so does the bike!

Our group used to ride down from the roundabout with a fountain in the middle of it and continue round past a giant pond and then head for Moraira and Javea.

I used to have five bikes, but currently there are only two in the stable:

2011 Giant TCR composite - I love this bike, no discs, no fancy wide tyres, 23C only!

2017 Ribble CGR - This is the sensible bike with disc brakes, mudguards, 30c tyres, heavy and slooow. I don't know if I enjoy riding this, but I'm stuck with it for the time being..

I’ve still got my trusty old S Works Epic, 13 years old now

And last year I bought an almost unused 2016 BMC ALR01 Team Machine which I’m really enjoying.

I’ve had a few changes

The BMC Team Machine has been sold and replaced with this.

And this is a lock down project that once completed I just couldn’t bring myself to sell.

Main bike these days is a Giant Toughroad SLR2:

But on days when I think I might need to go faster (it's all relative) I still dig out the Tricross:

Wouldn't mind something lighter, as these are both pretty weighty, but no more space in the garage!
