WheeledWeenie as Ian says is a mum now but is missing cycling too much to visit here as it makes her feel really sad.

Glad to hear that she's now a mum (less glad to hear we make her sad!); was wondering as the blog hadn't been updated either

Yeah, she's too sad to come onto here as she just misses riding so much- being reminded of it.

Sig's had back probs and (hope she don't mind me saying) job turbulence. Doesn't post here as she then realises all the fun she's missing.

I didn't know re the job turbulence. I hope she is ok - I must email her.

dont see him around much, any news or sightings?

I'd Suggest, sending them a personal message. Speaking as one that went AWOL for a bit, the messages i got from CC'rs (Ian and TT included ;) ) kind of reminded me to make an effort to get back into it.

Of course If someone has had a falling out then I don't suppose much will convince them to return.

I had an email chat with Tdrinka a few weeks ago ... didn't even realise he was awol!!

I also miss wheeledweenie, I liked her blog too.

I actually saw Punkypossum on my way home the other day. She was walking the dog by the river - would have stopped to say hi but she was deep in conversation with someone, so it seemed a bit rude to interrupt. She seemed to be pretty happy though.

Hi. I was browsing and found this thread so thought I would say hello. It is so nice to be missed.

My issue is the same as wheeled weeie...since becoming a Mum I can probably count on my hands how many times I have done a proper bike ride. Having a baby just takes up so much time and also it restricts your freedom immensely. I miss cycling so much, actually...I see a girl on a bike and it makes my heart ache. But having said that, I wouldn't change a thing. There are seasons in your life and the next cycling season isn't that far away! I am secretly planning a Tour of Napa/Sonoma in the Spring.

I am doing a lot of running at the moment, it is so much easier to run with a child than cycle. Doing my first half-marathon for a LONG time next weekend. Our baby is now two and is a total star, and we are loving California very much although i deeply miss the country lanes of Europe. Roads are so busy here that the thought of towing a trailer with our son on board fills me with fear.

But if anyone is over this way, we would love to see you!

Lovely to hear from you Cathryn. I bet young Arthur is giving you a right old run a round. Henry sure is with us the little monkey. He's nearly 2 now.. doesn't time fly?
