What's happening in Derbys?

I've just signed up to the website on the recommendation of two touring cyclists I met on the ferry back from France. I wondered if there were any social rides going from Derbys that I could find out about and join in with? Hope to hear from someone - anyone! Thanks Vicky P

Whereabouts in derbyshire do you live?
I am a memeber of mercia CC http://www.merciacyclingclub.co.uk/ based in burton upon trent, we have social rides on Sunday , there is also the CTC based in Swadlincote ,Derby and Alfreton.

I live in Wirksworth and would like to be able to cycle socially and not too fast! I have Mondays off work and hope to join a 'slow' ride with the Matlock cycling group on Mon mornings. I have mates to ride with on Sat and Sun but noit every weekend.

Lovely part of the world is Wirksworth!
One of the first rides on my current bike was the High Peak trail, just up the road from there at Middleton Top......the Hopton incline was a killer!
