Love horses, but much prefer cycling. I've left my touring cycle on the trainer in the basement for a month now, and it hasn't needed fodder, a change of bedding, or 10 bushels of manure carted away.Yep, been there, loved riding, but horses = fight or flight animal, weighing about a tonne with a walnut sized panic brain, cycling is a bit safer but, sorry, not as much fun!!
That good eh ?I've only ever read two thirds of it but now, having bought Blood's a Rover, I'm re-visiting American Tabloid and The Cold Six Thousand first! Awesome writing.
got the blu ray version from www.probikekit.com it's great. Sale on for dvd & blu ray at PBK.Nothing cycling related for me apart from the Pantani dvd maybe.
Fingers crossed for you, hope you & yours have a good Christmas despite the pain etc.Same here... Luckily the op is coming earlyfingers crossed, but it will mean the Christmas, wedding anniversary, birthday and new year will all still be bedbound but I will be home for them and hopefully knowing what the future holds at that point for better or for worse (as in as it is now).
ditto but not going to happen. I'm unlikely to even be back on my feet.
Would like to put some bike related items on my Christmas and birthday lists but daren't just incase things don't work out. otherwise there seems to be little I want and less that i need. The trike may get added to one of the lists if the above op has not gone to plan or the nerve damage is permanent. I have to get mobile again somehow!
Best of British for your mate.Same here not for me though but for my friend who is suffering from a compressed spine after falling from a horse.
