What's that noise on your commute?

This morning as I rode into work, I heard a really loud scuttling sound and looking to my left saw a guy riding a bike in his full office togs, one hand on his handlebars while with the other he was reaching out backwards to hold the extended handle of a large and very full suitcase that he was towing along behind him. This is on a busy main road.

Given the racket it was making and the occasional metallic grinding noise thrown in, not sure what would be left of the little wheels on the case by the time he got where he was going!

He was in the lane off to my left as the road approached a Y junction. It was about to go steeply downhill too - imagine being pushed along by the weight of a suitcase behind you!

Once saw a guy in Spain cycling with a large glider under his arm, wings almost touching the tarma. Definitely looked like he was being lifted by strong gusts
