I got 2 massive deals in and they are paying up front so I get a nice monthly commision of over £1,500 this mont.

Im going to tell the missis it was only £1,000 and spend the rest on cycling stuff, is that normal?

A picture message from MrsAndyLaw of our 3 month old daughter smiling. Not the first time she's smiled but the first time either of us has captured it on camera.

It's definitely not her 'pushing one out' face but that's what I replied back

I swung a leg across a bike.
Yup, that's probably the best thing I did today (so far). It's my work's annual celebration of cycling, so today is:
a) the opportunity for a free breakfast just for cycling in to work
 the one year anniversary of my first ever cycle commute
c) the day I will reach 1000 miles of riding, about half-way home on my commute.

Probably the best bit of the latter is that 220+ of those 1000miles have been in the last four weeks, as I've been riding every chance I got after a bit of enforced rest due to illness

errr I woke up.
That's a whole lot better than not waking up, I suppose

My new monitor arrived. Now I have to find something to do with all that extra screen space

I had a good day at work today...it's quiet, and i've been poorly motivated and bored for some days now.
I just clicked back into work mode, had a good tidy up in the workshop, had a good laugh with colleagues, and a few nice jobs.
Good day

shoot day at work, but when I got home my six year old was learning poetry for tomorrow and read me his choice out loud:-

I bought our cat a jetpack
which I think she liked a lot.
She strapped it on and instantly
she took off like a shot.

She zoomed around my bedroom
then she blasted down the hall.
She bounced off every piece
of furniture and wall.

Our dog freaked out and ran away.
Our hamster squeaked and fled.
I even saw my sister hiding
underneath her bed.

Our cat is so fired up
I almost hate to break the news:
She'll never catch our mouse;
I bought him rocket powered shoes

It made me smile anyway.
