I think it sorta based on municipal boundaries. So presumably including Morecambe and the thriving metropolis of Carnforth

...

A big area then...

If passing through on a train / motorway counts it's Bradford, otherwise it's Birmingham, but I have been to the two smalles cities on that list.

I grew up in the fair city of Perth, which is mysteriously missing from that list.

I'm not still on it, and haven't got off a moving train, so yes it did.

I think most of the train journeys concerned included stops at the stations in the cities concerned.
Among people who collect countries, I believe there is a "cup of coffee" test. You can only count having visited it if you've spent long enough there to buy a cup of coffee.

Edit: I seem to recall the other part of the test is that the cup of coffee has to be outside the airport too - transit through an airport doesn't count....

It's like that in the USA now. Terrible coffee.

I would take it they mean Greater London, the City of London would be packed solid with that many people in it.

Can't remember ever going to Sheffield but that might just be a comment on Sheffield. Shame because I can zoom down quite a bit after that.
