I used to be, and then I realised they were the same overblown macho pieces of crap every year or so.... And I grew up.
Actually, it was Mr Brosnan who killed it for me (pardon the pun). Sorry, but I can't think of a more slimy, smug twat possible and if I had been a Bond Villain then I'd have shot him in his stupid fat face in an instant.
No one is looking forward to Skyfall?

Talking of plots, I was shocked when I found out that Quantum of Solace, Casino Royal and Skyfall are all set in the past (when Bond first became an agent).
Not sure how it will work for Skyfall, Q is now a seventeen year old and everyone else is the same age?

Whereas, I pretty much gave them up when Pierce stopped...
I'm in a funny position with regard to the best Bond. Personally, I liked Brosnan best, but think Connery was probably the best over all. However, Craig seems to match the character in the books best, having a rather cruel look about him.
(And Roger Moore seems to be the one most willing to take the micky out of himself, which is cool).

Pierce was nice at first, but by the end I just wanted to run him over with a freight train..... Several times.

But none of the villains ever really did. Not one of them stuck a bullet in his head and got rid of him quickly while they had the opportunity. They were all stupid!
As a result we just have to put up with more and more Bonds - when we could have been spared all the films since Dr No!
I'll still go and watch the new one though. If it's as bad as Quantum of Solace it'll be the last I do go and see.
