Some people call them "W*nker lights"

Yes, I think that is the correct terminology. I think I've seen the packet in the shops.

Blue flashing illegal? Errr.. I have a respro hump backpack with the electro luminescent blue string which I usually have on flashing if I'm wearing it out on nights .

Hope no motorists have been mistaking me for plod from behind.

Not sure about the ones on cars but the nob'ead who lives next door has the damn things all over the eaves of his house.

Looks like something out of sodding close encounters.

Ah, from the link Mister P posted:

While using blue lights, drivers are exempt from a number of motoring regulations, including

  • treating a red traffic light as a give way sign
Not a RLJ are you numbnuts? And as the link says later on rotating lights have to be 1.2m from the ground I now have a picture of you with it strapped to the top of your bonce

I think they look cool and the fact most here dont confirms they are. Its like when you buy the opposite to what your parents like because obviously they have no clue.

As far as I know, it is illegal to have blue lights on your car unless you also have 17" alloys, lowered suspension, full body kit, blacked out windows, sports exhaust and a bass bin in the boot.

I believe it is also illegal to switch your blue lights on unless you also have your stereo on at full blast.

It's so that the deaf know that the car is fitted with a fart tin exhaust, and can marvel at the awesome power of the Corsa's engine as well.

People take the above measures when they "Barry up" their cars. Here is a delightful site, with some rude words....
