Hot and humid with some rain to start, followed by hot and humid, with a bit less rain, but a bit more heat. Followed by infernal. Right hilly in spots down around there as well. Memphis for Bar-B-Q, Nashville for the hot chicken. Hot chicken was invented by a woman angry at her man for visiting another woman. (He actually liked it, live and learn.) One of the downsides of this potential trip is I'll be on the wrong side of Tennessee to visit Nashville... in fact I'll be in Virginia, but a stone's throw from Bristol: the birthplace of country music. I'm not that into country music mind... this is all about seeing the sun go out, again.
edit... I am tempted to take the bike though.

Seems a long way to go for that...can't you stay in Lancaster, shut your eyes for a few minutes to simulate the darkness and then spend the 2k or whatever the trip would cost on a shiny new bike or two?
