What's the WORST job you ever had ?

Worse job I ever had was working in the Forde Control Room whilevI was recovering from surgery.

For the most part it was staffed withmcivilians who seemed to think the place was run for their benefit rather than to support the officers out on the ground. Largely untrained yet chosen to second guess pretty much everything trained and experience coppers said, and they spent an inordinate amount of time worrying about their job titles (civilians, then support staff, then police staff) instead of doing the job they were paid to do.

I swear I'd have chinned someone if id been on there much longer, and as it was I was thrown out sharpish once I'd recovered sufficiently,

Fortunately I've never had to do anything physically horrible. Worst was working at a Uni under two rather egotistical academics. The job looked great on paper but quickly realised it was made up. They really wanted a glorified admin person to do all their daily chores they felt were beneath them. Both of them were incredibly manipulative and would constantly make stuff up and try and drop me in it. Thankfully my direct manager was great (academics aren't allowed to manage admin staff in uni's) and he knew what they were up to, but it was a fairly painful two years dealing with them.
