What's this battery for?

A colleague found this at the side of the road round Cheshire.

I thought it might be for electronic shifting, but there's no names on it anywhere.

Any ideas?

A cracking light for night time MTB trips in the woods but useless now it is dead.

I had 2 sets of these and lent one to my mate last winter. I just text him to ask for it back and he said it won't charge either so that is two dead really good lights. I will put both sets together and try to get a working light before putting them in the recycling.

Those battery sets have to be stored at the right charge and temperature over summer or they do die, cheap enough to buy a new pack if the light is still ok .

Mine too. But it's still a cheap Chinese LED light battery.

Got 6 sets of those battery packs that still charge. I do use 2 pannovo packs though - supply your own quality batteries. Two dead packs were stripped and I have 6 usable batteries for two torches - only 1 battery failed in the pack.

Yes cheap chinese battery for front light. Had mine for a couple of years. Really good value for money.
